THE TEXAS RANCHER’S RETURN (BLUE THORN RANCH) is not the first book I
have read by ALLIE PLEITER, but it is the first I have read by her that
included a cowboy.
Gunner Buckton is back home to help his grandmother with the ranch that
has been in his family for years. What he was not counting on is locking horns with
the pretty looking Brook Calder.
When Brooke Calder happens to run across a buffalo in the middle of the
road – rather bison – she isn’t prepared to move it out of her way, any more
then she is ready to deal with the man it belongs to. Brooke would do anything for
her daughter, but stepping foot on Buckton’s land makes her wanting to please
her daughter a bit of a challenge.
I have read enough ALLIE PLEITER stories to know she is constant in delivering
great lines. MS PLEITER knows how to put a story together, always coming up
with great plots. Looking forward to reading the next in the Blue Thorn Ranch
series.
